WAIS DRIVER

Privacy notice.

Effective 10 October 2026.

Wais Driver ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Our data protection contact is support@waisdriver.com.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we collect these kinds of information:

  • Contact and access details: your email address and what we need to give you access to what you bought.
  • Purchases and payments: what you bought, the amount, the date and the state of the payment. Your payment details go to our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Activity and progress: how you use the product and the site, what you enter, your results and your progress. This includes anything you enter about other people.
  • Technical and usage information: your internet address, device and browser details, the pages you open and the actions you take, how you reached us (for example from an advertisement), and cookies or similar identifiers.
  • Messages: what you write to us, the emails we send you, and your choices about email.

Your saved progress in the product is kept in your browser, on your device. What reaches us is a record of how the product is used, for example that a lesson was opened or a question was answered, and, where the product saves test results with your purchase, those results.

We get this information from you, from your device and browser when you use the site, and from our payment provider.

How we use it

We use this information to:

  • deliver what you bought and keep your access and your progress;
  • take payments and prevent fraud and misuse;
  • keep the site working and secure;
  • answer you and give support;
  • send you messages about your purchase and, where you agreed to them, marketing messages;
  • understand how the site and the product are used (internal analytics), and develop and improve our products and services;
  • measure how our advertising performs;
  • keep our accounts, meet our legal duties, and establish or defend legal claims.

Internal analytics covers visits to the site and the use of the product by buyers, and may be linked to a purchase. Where the law asks us for a ground other than your consent or our contract with you, we rely on our legitimate interests in running, protecting and improving our products and in measuring our advertising.

Who receives it

We share personal information with:

  • service providers that work for us, for payment processing, hosting and security, email delivery, analytics and customer support. They get the kinds of information listed above that their service needs, and process it to provide that service to us.
  • advertising networks, to measure the results of our own advertisements. When you reach us from an advertisement and then buy, we may report the purchase (its time and amount) with the reference of that advertisement.
  • authorities, courts and advisers, where the law requires it or where we need it to protect our rights, to prevent fraud or to keep people safe.
  • a successor, if the business or a product is sold or merged.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. Our pages do not load advertising or tracking code from other companies, so other companies do not collect information on our pages about what you do across websites. The payment step is run by our payment provider.

Cookies, advertising measurement and your choices

We use cookies and similar storage in your browser to run the site (security, access, your settings and your progress), for analytics, and to remember that you reached us from an advertisement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; parts of the site will then not work.

You can turn off advertising measurement here: we then keep no advertisement reference and report no purchase to an advertising network. The choice holds for this browser session and for orders you start after making it.

We treat a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal from your browser as a request to turn off advertising measurement.

Email

We send you emails about your purchase and your access. We send marketing email only where you agreed to receive it, for example by giving us your address in a form that says so. Every marketing email has a link that stops further ones.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above:

  • purchase and payment records for as long as you have access, and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and limitation rules require;
  • an email address you gave us for marketing until you unsubscribe; we then keep a record of that, so that we do not write to you again;
  • activity, progress, technical, analytics and advertising-measurement records for as long as they are useful for running, securing, understanding and improving the product.

Where it is processed

Our service providers process personal information in the United States and in other countries. Where the law requires safeguards for sending personal information to another country, we rely on the data protection terms in our agreements with those providers. You can ask us about them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, the law may give you the right to:

  • know whether we hold personal information about you and get a copy of it, including in a portable form;
  • have it corrected;
  • have it deleted;
  • withdraw a consent you gave;
  • opt out of the sale of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do neither.

To use a right, write to support@waisdriver.com from the email address the request concerns. We may ask for more to confirm that the request comes from you. We answer within the time the law that applies to you sets. The law lets us refuse or limit some requests, for example where we must keep the records of a purchase, and in some cases lets us charge a reasonable fee; we tell you when either applies. If we refuse a request, we tell you why, and you can appeal by replying to our answer; we then look at it again.

A deletion request by itself does not end your access: we keep the records we need to give you that access and the records the law requires us to keep.

You can also complain to the authority for data protection or consumer protection where you live.

Children

Wais Driver is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, write to us.

Changes to this notice

When we change this notice, we post the new version here and change the date at the top. Where the law requires more, such as telling you directly or asking for your consent, we do that as well.
